We organise a variety of social events throughout the year. These can be found on the Events page. Our events range from traditional events such as informal discussions and chats, to charity quiz nights, social nights and our annual 'casino night' event. Our events are an excellent opportunity for our members to network and seek advice and support from fellow professionals.

The Junior Lawyers Division was set up as a specific group with the Law Society to provide Junior Lawyers with support, advice, information and networking opportunities. The JLD has close links to the local groups and the CNWJLD represents Junior Lawyers throughout Cheshire and North Wales. We cover a very large area compared to other local groups and are attracting new members each month. We hope that you will join us at the events we hold and we look forward to voicing your opinions and concerns.

Email cnwjld@gmail.com to join the Junior Lawyers Divison and to receive information about upcoming events!

The committee

The Cheshire and North Wales Junior Lawyers Division (CNWJLD) was formed in 2007 to reflect national changes to the Trainee Solicitors Group (TSG) and Young Solicitors Group (YSG). We are a local branch of the National Junior Lawyers Division which is part of the Law Society. The CNWJLD is your representative in the area and our National Representative attends national JLD meetings in London, where the JLD implements policies on your behalf through lobbying and campaigning.

The CNWJLD is a community for your needs and is open to Law Society Members, LPC students, trainees, paralegals, solicitors up to 5 years post qualification experience and legal executives. We have attracted members from all areas over the last 7 years and we are still a growing organisation.
